Video Project

This video was from a project that GYWI chose to do. 6 girls were picked out of GYWI. The six girls were Clara, Luisiana, Evelyn, Jasmine, Belinda and Stephanie. The girls were given one week to film, edit and produce two videos. On choosing the topics of the videos, the girls had to brainstorm a few ideas that they would like to film on the videos.

The two topics that we chose to do were, domestic violence and judgment. We felt that the people needed to know about these issues and take it more seriously. Domestic violence was chosen, because we felt it was an issue that the people wasn't taking seriously. Judgment was another issue, that we felt, people need to take more seriously too.

We are very proud about our videos and the topic that we chose. After working for a week on the project, we felt a new sense of pride and confidence in themselves and they have deepened their friendships with each other. We hope that other teens like us get to experience what we did and learned on their project. PEACE!!!!!!!!
