What Alana loves about herself is that she feels she's one of a kind. She can make friends easily and she laughs a lot. She is also photogenic. Her favorite subjects are science and math because she likes to find out new things. Her birthday is May 15. Her favorite foods are cereal and lasagna. She likes to swim because she likes water. She also likes basketball because it is an active sport. What she likes about her family is that they are able to talk about whatever they want and feel comfortable about it. On her spare time she reads, sleep, eat, listens to music, and sometimes go out. What she likes about this program is that it is a place that brings people together. She said it's a good place to learn new, interesting things. It is an after school program that keeps you off the streets and allows you to do fun and educational things, plus employs you. Honestly, I don't enjoy sports but there is one sport that I totally love
and that is handball. What I like about my family is that they are very
supportive and that they look out for my well-being. What I like to do
mostly in my spare time is reading ,listening to music and playing handball.

Sarah likes Grand Street Settlement because she says that it is something better to do than staying home. Life is something that Sarah takes high consideration into. Sarah thinks that she has a great sense of humor. Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon are two of many favorite cartoons that Sarah enjoys. A phoenix is a choice that Sarah picked if she could be any animal.

She likes all types of music except Jazz. Jennifer's favorite foods are lasagna and pizza. She likes only one sport, which is baseball because she thinks it's the most exciting sport. What she likes about her family is that they are fun to be with. On her spare time she likes to watch T.V, listen to music, dance and sing. What Jennifer likes about this program is that after school she has somewhere to go instead of going home. When Jennifer grows up she would like to become an accountant or a lawyer.

My favorite color is blue and green. What I like about my self is that I care for my self and others, and have respect for them. My favorite subject is art, and reading because art helps me to relaxes my mind and have relaxation and peace. Reading makes me want to think, and also want to think what is going to happen in the book. My birthday is on August 27. And I was born on 1985. My favorite food would be rice, chicken, beans, plantains, Chicken with broccoli, ice - cream, and pizza, and much more ( Remember I'm not fat, I'm okay). I love sports it makes my entertain, my favorite sport would be basketball because it makes me feel good about my self and want to make me think during the game. I have been playing basketball for almost 8 years and it's real good to play. What I like about my family is that we sometime do things together and have a great time. For instance the hole family travel, we go to Florida, Miami, Boston, Canada, and Dominican Republic. My family has great time together (We crack jokes on each other). What I do on my spare time is watch T.V, play basketball, sometime go to sleep, and hang with my friends, and eat ( I do not do that in one day). What I like about this program is that we get to look into web sits, and find interesting things to do. What's important for me is family, friends, God, and my future. Claribel's favorite colors are green, blue, gray and red. What she most likes about herself is her personality and her attitude. Spanish is Claribel's favorite subject and class, she loves learning of her language and her Dominican/Puerto Rican background. She finds Spanish to be a beautiful language and feels that anyone can speak it. Her birthday is on August 27. She loves to eat Italian, Spanish and Chinese food, but her favorite is Chinese. Especially "lo mein" and "pork fried rice". She enjoys playing basketball, because she feels that all of her worries go away when she's playing. What she likes most of her loved ones is that they are always there for her. In her spare time Claribel likes to hear music, play B-ball and draw. Claribel has been coming to Grand Street for eight years and feels that this is where she belongs. The most important things in Claribel's life is her family, friends, goals and Grand Street.

Her family means a great deal to her. She likes hanging out with them and cracking jokes on them. She enjoys working in computer wizards because she likes dealing with computers. Her family, friends, education, and basketball is very important to her. Her family is important to her because these are people who she dearly love . Her favorite foods are bake ziti and cereal. Her favorite sport is basketball because it is a fun and active sport. What she like about her family is that they give good advise whether you need it or not and that they always have money. In her spare time she like to listen to music, use the Internet, talk on the phone, chill with her friends, sleep and eat. What she likes about this program is that they help you in a time of need, they are very understanding people who listen when you talk. It's a fun place to meet new people and learn new things and you get paid for coming, learning and having a good time. Family is important because without them you will be alone and they show you love and unconditional love and that is what keeps you alive as well as food and shelter. Another thing important to her is school. Without an education you will get nowhere in life. You need the education to get a job to support you're self and to help you along the way through life. If she can be and animal she would be a black panther because it's her favorite animal and they a are very beautiful and unique. My name is Wanda and I turned 14 years old on Feb 9. I am special because I make myself laugh. I also like my soft straight hair. My favorite subject is reading because I like to make up stories of my own. My favorite foods are broccoli, olives and beef patties. On my spare time I like to read books like THE LAST VAMPIRE 3, this book is very funny and scary at the same time. I like other scary things like tigers, and that's why if I had to choose what animal to be I would be a tiger. My favorite movie is Snow White and the seven dwarfs the reason I like computer wizards is that I get to work with computers and I like computers.
