Jamie My name is Jamie, my favorite color is orange. I like everything about myself plus my maturity and attitude. I have no favorite subject. My birthday is on January 27. My favorite food is mashed potatoes in a box. I like to play basketball because its invigorating. I like that my family is fun and exciting. In my spare time I like to play video games. In this program I like my friends Monica, Jessy, Justine,and Xiomara. My family, clothes, jewelry are all important to me. My favorite movie is Boyz in the Hood. Nicole My name is Nicole, my favorite colors are blue, red, black, and, white. The things I like about myself are my lips and eyes. My favorite subject in school is Spanish because its easy. My birthday is on November 10. My favorite foods are platanos and pernil. I like to play football and basketball. I like that my family is Puerto Rican. In my spare time I like to chill, watch t.v and eat chocolate. In this program I like computers. My self-respect and school are important to me. If I could be an animal I would be a dolphin because I like water even though I don't know how to swim. My favorite movies are Dirty Dancing and the Blue Lagoon.

Stephanie's favorite color is lavender. What she likes most about herself is that she's smart and opinionated, erratic, spontaneous, loyal and unique. Her favorite subject is English because she likes to read and write. Stephanie's birthday is on June 19. She likes to eat dim sum (Chinese food) often. One aspect of her family that she likes is that they are weird and creative. Stephanie usually spends her spare time reading, watching T.V, and listening to music. What she likes about Grand Street is that the people here are loyal and caring as if they were a family and that each day is full of surprises. Besides Grand Street, Stephanie has a couple of important things in her life. They are her friends and her family because she wants to find happiness in her life and be with people who will stick with her through thick and thin. The sports I like to play is baseball because it's fun to play. I like about my family is that they make me laugh and they like to crack on people. Her favorite subject is technology, because it is very fun and also because it is interesting. Her birthday is March 9. Her favorite foods are lasagna, chicken, pernil, pork chops, pizza, rice and beans, spaghettis, plantains. Her favorite sports are baseball and volleyball, because they are fun and exciting. The thing she likes about her family is that they are loving and they are always together in good and bad situations. In her spare time she likes to hangout with her friends, listen to music and go to parties. What she likes about the program is that it's interesting and creative, and also fun. The most important things to her are her family, her best friend and herself, which she means her life. What's special about herself is that she is loving and she enjoys being with other people. Her favorite cartoon is the Sylvester and Tweety mysteries. The animal she would like to be is a dog. Jennefer's favorite color is lavender. What she likes about herself is that she is confident. Her favorite subject is global because she likes the teacher. Her birthday is October 31. Her favorite food is platanos and steak. She likes to plays some sports, which is basketball, she likes to play basketball because she finds it fun and she likes baseball because she likes to see when the METS lose and the YANKEES win. If she could be an animal she would be a panda bear because she she finds them really cute. Her favorite cartoon is Elmo because she finds him really cute. Her favorite t.v. show is wrestling. Her favorite movies are scary. What she likes about her family is they are caring. In Jennefer's free time she would talk to her to friends on the phone, watch t.v. or hangout with some of her friends. What she likes about this program is that she learns different things then school and she thinks it is fun. What is important to Jennefer is her mother because she gave birth to her and she thinks that she is very special, and with out her she wouldn't be alive right now.
Royalene favorite color is red. Royalene likes the fact that she's "slim with a fat butt". She is a nice person. She's thinks that she's "pretty", she has high self esteem. She hates school, but likes going to lunch to chill with her friends. Her birthday is February 16, 1984, she is an Aquarius. Her favorite foods are: lasagna, stewed chicken with rice and beans with sweet plantains and salad (all Jamaican style). Royalene loves to eat, another dish that she enjoys is oxtail with rice and beans alongside the sweet platains and salad. Royalene's favorite sport is basketball, she started liking it because all of her male cousins. What Royalene likes about her family, is that they are African-American, in other words BLACK to the fullest. In her spare time she likes to be with her boyfriend Chris or talk to him on the phone, or she likes to indulge in all kinds of food. What Royalene likes about Grand Street Settlement is that the Girl's Initiative program gears towards having co-ed youth grow up to be successful women and men in today's society. Family is something that Royalene considers to be of high importance. Something special about Royalene is that she is a loving and considerate person, inside and out. Royalene's two favorite movies are Kings of Comedy, and The Players Club. A pitbull is the choice that Royalene would pick if she could be any animal, because she says they are loyal and not afraid of anything.
Fabiola's favorite color is yellow and gray. What I mainly like about me body is everything. Her favorite subject is computers because I love them and also because they have interesting things. My birthday is February 22. My favorite foods are seafood, macaroni salad, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, biscuits, corn bread,pernil, pork chops, rice and beans. My favorite sports are tennis and volleyball because they are interesting sports. What I like most about my family is that they are loving. I like to listen to music, play on the computer, hang out, and be with her family on her spare time. What I like about this program is that it has nice people, it's interesting and fun. The most important things in my life are my family,and my best friend. Fabiola is a very special person. What makes her special is that she is loving,fun,and she loves to be with her cousins and friends. Her favorite cartoon is Tom & Jerry. If Fabiola was to be an animal she would a monkey. 
Amanda favorite color is blue. She likes the way she acts. Her favorite school subject is math. She likes math because she did good in that class. Her birthday is may 9th. She also likes pizza has her favorite food. Amanda doesn't like sports that much. But she likes the way her family acts. She hang out in her spare. But be for she hangs out she goes to a program ,and she likes the program because she does different thing. She would be a bird so that she can fly. Her family is important to because she cares about them.

What she likes about her family is that they are loving and caring. On her spare time she dances. She is in a dancing group called the "L.E.S. GIRL DANCERS". She also loves to write poetry. What she likes about the program is that she is getting paid and it is also a good opportunity for her. Her school is very important to her because with out her education she would get no where. My favorite subject is health because I like to learn about the human
body and how to take care of myself. My birthday is on April 9 and on
that day I eat chicken parmigana and lasagna because it rocks. Yes, I
do enjoy sports especially handball because I like to work my upper body
and I find it exiting. I love my family because they are very caring towards
me. On rare occasions that I have spare time, I prefer to read, sew, and
work over anything else. I like the Grand Street program because I am
learning skills I will actually use in the future. 
Jessica favorite color is Blue,Black,Gray, and Red. What she likes about herself is her personality. Her favorite subject is Biology because she loves chemistry. Her birthday is January 17. Her favorite foods are: pizza, lasagna, porkchops, and rice with beans. She loves baseball and football because in both sports she could take out her anger. What she loves about her family is that they are crazy. On her spare time she plays sports especially baseball. What she likes about the program is that she is getting paid and its a good opportunity for her. W hat is important to her is school because without an education she has nothing. Something that is special about herself is that she is very unique. If she could be an animal she said she would be a black panther.
My favorite color is blue, red, gray and green. I love my hair and my eyes, that's the only thing that i like about myself. My favorite subject is science because we could deal with all the chemicals we want. My birthday is on Sept. 6. Also my favorite foods are pastelles, lasagna, Cuban sandwich, chicken with broccoli and shrimps.. My family is very supportive towards me. In my spare time i love to dance or draw. In computer wizards it has everything i need and i'm starting to learn more about computers. The most thing that is important to me is my father because he is the only thing that i want in my life. |
