How to Apply

Who Should Consider AmeriCorps?
The model AmeriCorps members is a person who has expressed an interest in leadership roles; community service; and working with youth, families and senior citizens. Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, initiative and dependability are key characteristics for anyone seeking a position in the AmeriCorps program. AmeriCorps is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to make an impact in the Lower East Side community and develop his or her personal and career skills.

Interested applicants are required to attend an information session so as to familiarize themselves with the AmeriCorps program at Grand Street Settlement. Dates of information sessions can be obtained by contacting Aileen Moore, the Director of AmeriCorps or Jillian Sandoval, the Assistant Director of AmeriCorps.

Applications must be mailed or personally delivered to the Director or the Assistant Director by the deadline. Please contact either individual for an application.
